
Buck Bailey, SHP, CGP, LEED GA
Professional Building Designer
Growing up in historic Georgia, Buck developed a love for beautiful, enduring buildings. He studied architecture and building construction at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. After graduating from Georgia Tech, Buck started his design practice in the Atlanta area. Since then he has designed projects across the US and Canada, and now lives and works in East Tennessee. In addition to designing commercial and residential projects, he has served on design review boards and consulted on development design and regulating planning. He regularly engages with municipalities regarding code and zoning compliance. Buck studied high-performance energy design, healthy environments, and sustainability in the Pacific Northwest, and continues to implement these practices. He carries certificates from Earth Advantage’s Sustainable Homes Professional program (SHP), Natl. Assn. of Homebuilders Certified Green Professional course (NHB CGP), and LEED’s Green Associate accreditation (LEED GA). Buck enjoys designing for project clients, collaborating with industry professionals, and producing excellent design coupled with energy efficiency and healthy environments.
