Steven Bush is the Vice President of Investments and Development at PWA Properties. He is a Knoxville-based commercial real estate professional who has transacted more than $650M in multifamily acquisitions, dispositions, and financings during his career.

He began his career in commercial real estate in 2016 as an acquisitions analyst intern at Atlantic Creek Real Estate Partners, a joint-venture equity provider. After moving into a full-time role, he spent four years underwriting, sourcing, and evaluating multifamily investments across various markets.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Steven shifted to the buy side with a Nashville-based multifamily syndication group, where in under two years he helped lead more than $350M in acquisitions and dispositions of value-add assets.

He then joined Dominion, a vertically integrated real estate investment and management firm in Knoxville, TN, as Director of Acquisitions. As acquisitions slowed, he stepped into asset management, leading a team responsible for a portfolio of 4,500+ market-rate units across five major metros. He also directed the firm’s capital markets activity — including refinancing and disposition strategy — executing more than $300M in transactional volume.
