PWA Properties is proud to announce that Co-Founder and Executive Vice President Cohl Morgan has been selected for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s prestigious Volunteer 40 Under 40 Class.
The Volunteer 40 Under 40 program recognizes outstanding alumni under the age of 40 who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in their careers and communities while embodying the Volunteer spirit through leadership, service, and innovation.
A Knoxville native and 2019 graduate of the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business, Morgan earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and graduated summa cum laude. Following graduation, he quickly established himself as a rising leader in commercial real estate, becoming the fastest agent in company history to surpass $100 million in sales volume.
Throughout his career, Morgan has received numerous honors, including recognition as a Knox News 40 Under 40 recipient and recipient of the East Tennessee Realtors Rising Star Award. In 2025, he co-founded PWA Properties, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage, development, and design firm serving clients throughout Tennessee and beyond.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Morgan has remained deeply committed to giving back to the University of Tennessee and the Knoxville community. Following his own battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, he established the Vols Beat Cancer Scholarship Endowment, the first scholarship of its kind at the University of Tennessee. The endowment provides financial assistance to students whose lives have been impacted by cancer, helping them pursue their educational goals while facing personal and family challenges.
“Being recognized by the University of Tennessee as part of the Volunteer 40 Under 40 Class is an incredible honor,” said Morgan. “UT has played a significant role in shaping who I am both personally and professionally, and I am grateful for the opportunities, relationships, and experiences that continue to connect me to the Volunteer community.”
Morgan’s selection reflects not only his success in business, but also his dedication to philanthropy, community service, and creating opportunities for future generations of Volunteers.
PWA Properties congratulates Cohl on this well-deserved recognition and looks forward to his continued leadership and impact across the commercial real estate industry and the East Tennessee community.
